1st and 2nd Grade Green Belt One Step
Sparring Combinations
- Step
forward to a left front stance and execute a right outward outer
forearm block angled to the right. Pivot right to a middle stance
and execute a left punch to the ribs. Pivot left to a left front
stance and execute a right ridge hand to an open area. Execute a
right crescent kick to the head, lower the right foot wide angle out
and execute a left round kick. Step down to a parallel stance with
your back to your opponent and execute a right spin crescent kick. Step
down to a left L stance, double guarding blocks.
- Execute
a right crescent block- side kick combination, step down to a right
front stance and execute a left then right punch to the face. Step
right foot to a wide angle out and execute a left turning hook kick,
step down to a parallel stance with your back to your opponent and
execute a right jump spin heel kick, landing in a left L stance,
double guarding blocks.
- Step
forward right angle out to a right front stance, while gripping the
opponent’s right arm with a left hooking block. Execute a left
turning round kick to the solar plexus, stepping down to a left
front stance and executing a right punch to the face. Pivot right to
a right front stance and execute a left ridge hand strike to an open
area. Step with your left foot to a parallel stance with your back
to your opponent and execute a right spin side kick, step down feet
together, then step left foot back to a right L stance, double
guarding blocks.
- Step
forward to a right L stance while executing a right inward outer
forearm block. Shift the right foot to a right front stance and
execute a left palm strike to the face, then a right up-set punch to
the spleen, then a left ridge hand strike to the head. Execute a
right round kick and step down to a parallel stance with your back
to your opponent and execute a left spin heel kick, landing in a
right L stance, double guarding blocks.
3rd and 4th Grade Green Belt One Step
Sparring Combinations
- Jump
back to a left L stance, double guarding blocks. Execute a left
skipping front kick, landing in a left L stance while executing a
left outward outer forearm block. Shift to a left
front stance and execute a right punch to the face. Step with your
left foot to a parallel stance with your back to your opponent and
execute a right spin side kick. Step down feet together, then step
back to a right L stance, double guarding blocks.
- Step
forward to a left front stance and execute a left outward outer
forearm block, then execute a right and left horizontal spear thrust
to the eyes. Execute a left pick up side kick and step down to a
parallel stance with your back to your opponent. Execute a right
spin heel kick and land in a left L stance, double guarding blocks.
- Execute
a left forward turning side kick, landing in a parallel stance with
your back to your opponent. Execute a right spin side kick stepping
down to a right front stance and execute a left then right punch to
the face. Execute a left turning round kick, landing in a middle
stance and execute a left knife hand strike to the neck. Step behind
and away to a left L stance, double guarding blocks.
- Step
forward to a right L stance and execute a right high block, then a
right knife hand to the ribs, followed by a right side kick to the
ribs, step down to a middle stance facing your opponent and execute
a left front kick to the solar plexus. Step down angled out to a
middle stance and execute a right then left punch to the ribs. Pivot
to the left to a left front stance and execute a right ridge hand to
the ribs. Right foot swing away to a left L stance, double guarding
blocks.
